Go during your break or go for a whole semester! All trips are faculty-led and are guaranteed to give you an immersive experience in the area you’re visiting.

Take the Trip of a Lifetime

With ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ Southern, you can visit the Mayan ruins in Belize, explore the historical landscape of Spain, venture into the Swiss Alps, experience Paris’ “moveable feast,” and more. You’ll get an immersive experience that will teach you the cultural history of the area, along with field-based experiences that can apply to your degree (depending on the trip).

Explore the history, ecosystem, and culture of locations including Costa Rica, the Bahamas, and Belize.

Get to know key areas in across Europe from early history to present through historic site visits, cultural activities, and guided tours. Locations can include Spain, England, Italy, Switzerland, and more.

Experience some of the cultural capitals of America, such as the art and fashion epicenter: New York City. Get an immersive experience in the inner workings of the art world through museum and art house visits and tours.

Earn Credits Toward Your Degree

The credits you receive on your Junior Journey trip go toward your credit requirement for graduation. Trips that are discipline-specific can also fulfill credit requirements for your degree.
The junior journey trip to Greece opened my eyes: we visited historical sites and learned their history, ate traditional meals and learned their significance, and spoke with locals and learned about their culture. FSC made this trip possible and has greatly contributed to the expansion of my world perspective.

Spring Semester in Spain 2025

This interdisciplinary trip, led by Dr. Susan Serrano, offers a unique study abroad experience that covers everything you'll need, including all tuition and fees, plane tickets, and full room and board. You'll experience daily excursions that immerse you in the local culture. As part of the program, you'll take two courses at Proyecto Español, with no Spanish prerequisites, and two additional courses with a ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ faculty member. Studying abroad with other FSC students makes this an unforgettable and enriching journey.
